​The Industry Ecosystem Development Department (IEDD) of the Energy Market Authority (EMA) champions the development and transformation of the energy ecosystem towards a clean energy future by supporting energy innovation, development of new business models, industry collaboration and workforce development.We are looking for a Senior/Principal/Senior Principal Analyst with the Industry Capability Branch. The role is to drive the successful deployment of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in Singapore, ensuring its economic viability, navigating regulatory landscapes and fostering innovation to make a significant impact on the Singapore Energy Transition:Be part of the team leading the planning, coordination and implementation of ESS development and deployment.Conduct comprehensive analysis to assess the commercial viability of ESS, including but not limited to (i) evaluating the economic factors, market trends and regulatory landscapes to identify opportunities and challenges; (ii) advocate for necessary policy changes with stakeholders, backed by comprehensive analysis and recommendations.Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions in the ESS space and translate to needle-moving deployment opportunities that can enhance grid resilience while reducing costs and addressing constraints.Be part of a team handling grant administration and managing R&D projects with industry and stakeholders.
